2020 Membership Renewal - Ontario Golf Surcharge
For those members wanting to post their scores on the Ontario Golf system there will be an additional $40.00 charge this year. This fee goes to the Royal Golf Association and the Ontario Golf Association. There will not be an in house handicap system anymore, as we are following the OGA guidelines.

New Local Rule
In order to speed up play and simplify the game, Colonnade has implemented Local Rule E-5 for balls hit out-of-bounds (OB) on Holes 1, 6 and 18 into areas marked off by white stakes. This Local Rule will be included on our next scorecard printing but is in effect immediately. When a golfer is virtually certain that their ball has been hit OB, this Local Rule now takes effect. The specific OB locations are: Hole 1: left side of fairway (into the driving range) Hole 6: into the wooded area on the left side of Hole 6 green past the fairway bunker Hole 18: left of maintenance road along left side of fairway 18 (past the ponds through to the green) or through 18 green into the parking lot Please note that Penalty areas (formerly Water and Lateral Water Hazards), identified by Yellow or Red Stakes respectively, are not included in this local rule and thus should be played under Rule 17. The purpose of this Local Rule provides an extra relief option that allows a player to play on without returning to the location of the previous stroke. The player gets two penalty strokes when using this relief option. This means that the relief is comparable to what could have been achieved if the player had taken stroke-and-distance relief. Please see the diagrams posted in the pro shop for further clarity.
Members Using Carts
Our grounds crew have noticed a number of members not following the cart signs and therefore driving too close to the greens, tees and restricted areas. To those members following the signs we appreciate that, but for those disregarding the signs PLEASE follow the rules.
